How do I apply for an excess personal umbrella policy?
The application process for the excess personal umbrella policy is very simple. To apply, first use our online EZquote. From there, fill out the on-line application, print it, and sign it. (The application will automatically set the effective date to 10 days after the date the application is filled out and will calculate your pro-rated premium). Mail the application along with a premium check and a complete photocopy of your underlying personal umbrella policy (including the declarations page, the rate sheet, any other documents showing the premium amount, effective date, expiration date, policy limit and complete application form) to the address on the application. Upon receipt of these materials, we will issue you a policy or return all materials to you (including your uncashed check) if we are unable to provide coverage.
