How do I apply for a programme at City University?
For an undergraduate programme, you should apply through UCAS. For a postgraduate programme you can apply online, using the application form on the relevant programme page of the website. For example, to apply to MA International Journalism, go to that page on the City website and there will be a link to the application form. Programmes at City can be very competitive so we recommend applying in good time (between December 2005 and February 2006 for September 2006 starts) . What level of English language is required? For most undergraduate programmes, you need either IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 213 (paper-based 550). However, for business, journalism and law programmes you need IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 250 (paper-based 575). For postgraduate programmes, you need IELTS 6.5 (7.0 for business, law and journalism). TOEFL is also accepted.
