How do I apply and what documents are required to be submitted with the passport application?
Ans: i) Completed application for new passport. The application form should be filled online (website: www.indiacgny.org and hardcopy of the application form is to be submitted to the Consulate). All columns in the application should be filled even if the answer is ‘No’ or “Not Applicable’. Incomplete and unsigned applications will be rejected and returned to the applicant. ii) Original existing passport and photocopy of first three and last two pages containing personal particulars/vital information. iii) Four recently taken and identical colour photographs with light background of size 3.5×3.5 cm.
