Avoid applying film over seams and stitches. Remove plastic liner, exposing dry adhesive side down (do not remove paper carrier; only 8710 Silver has a paper carrier). Place on garment, adhesive side down, and heat seal as follows: 8710 Silver – For most fabrics 350ºF (177ºC) for 20-30 seconds at medium to firm pressure. For nylon, 375ºF (190ºC) for 30-40 seconds at medium pressure. 8786 Red & 8787 Yellow – Works best on medium and heavy weight fabrics, fleeces and knits. Not recommended for nylon fabric. Apply at 300ºF (148ºC) for 5 to 30 seconds with firm pressure. Allow to cool before removing release carrier.
