How do I append a document with newly scanned material?
If you wish, you can add a new bulk scan to the end of an existing document (for example, if you are scanning a document with many pages, I recommend that you scan the first page several times to get the optimum threshold, then save this page in the Library, then scan the next 20, and append them to the end of the file which contains the first page, then scan the next 20 and append them to the end of this file, etc. This protects you from losing a lot of pages if there is a power failure, computer crash, etc.). To append a scan to an existing file, simply press APPEND (key “7”) after you have scanned and pressed DONE (key “3”).
