How do I appeal a Provincial Court summary conviction disposition or traffic ticket?
You may appeal a summary conviction judgment or traffic ticket by filing a Notice of Appeal with the Registry of the Supreme Court in the court centre closest to the Provincial Court in which the matter was heard. You have 30 days from the date the matter is disposed of in the Provincial Court to file the Notice of Appeak. Appeals of summary conviction dispositions must be brought in accordance with the Summary Conviction Criminal Appeal Rules.
