To access the switch, turn off the unit to prevent shocks. Open the display box (4 screws). Lift the front cover of the box off. The display electronics card is attached to the front cover. On the back of the card (the side opposite the front cover) is a 10-position switch that can be adjusted with a screwdriver. Adjust the switch values until the desired false alarm rate is reached for the shielding and power of that particular x-ray machine.
