How do I adjust a LG L204WT computer monitor?

Normally, this is just done by setting the video resolution to the monitor resolution. You may also have a funky refresh rate set – since LCDs don’t really refresh, you shouldn’t need to worry about refresh rate. First, make certain that you have the monitor driver installed. If you don’t, or you’re not sure, download the latest driver from LG (I couldn’t find it on the site – hope you have CD, or e-mail LG). Apparently driver installation is very important for this monitor. If driver installation doesn’t help, set the resolution to the default monitor resolution, which should be 1680 x 1050. Don’t mess with the refresh rate, or put it on the lowest setting (usually 60 Hz).
