How Do I add users, access codes, and remotes to my Marine Magellan console?
The Marine Magellan system can have up to 16 different users assigned to the system. A user is defined as a person with an access code to disarm the system. For every one user, there can be only one key fob remote. Conversely, for every key fob remote there must be a user assigned to it. To change user information, follow the directions below. System Master Code With the System Master code a user can use any arming method and can program any users (from 1 to 16) access Code. The System Master is four digits (default), where each digit can be any number from 0 to 9. (Default: 1234) User Codes A person must be assigned to a user code in order to have access to the Marine Magellan. A user code defines the extent of a users access to the system and consists of a code # (PIN) and user options. The Marine Magellan supports one System Master code and 15 User codes.
