How do I add the scenery to the FS2004 or FSX library in Windows 7?

In most cases, the procedure for adding BluePrint sceneries to the simulator’s library in Windows 7 remains unchanged. If you experience no issues during the procedure simply disregard the modified procedure listed below. In some cases, however, the final step of the procedure does not work the same way that it does in Windows XP and Windows Vista. Clicking OK after selecting the folder containing the scenery files fails to add the new area to the library. The folder containing the scenery opens instead. Clicking OK after that has no effect at all. The solution, while unusual, is very simple and consists of adding one step at the end of the procedure as explained below.
