How do I add my own music to StarPlay?

You or your students can import any Sibelius or Scorch files into StarPlay. To do this, click on ‘Open Score’ in the tool bar (its located next to the ‘Tuner’ symbol). Locate your file and StarPlay should automatically load your score. If you have a media file (e.g. video) to accompany this, click ‘Yes’ when the prompt appears. If your score has multiple parts, choose the part you want assessed in the top left corner (above ‘Perform’). StarPlay will not give feedback if the score has an accompanying Windows Media file unless it has been synchronized with the score. A wizard/tool will be made available in the near future to assist you to synchronize your own media files. Click here to read about adding your own score to an existing piece of music.
