Opening the PresentationOpen up the PowerPoint presentation in which you’d like to insert the movie clips. Go to the “Insert” tab; you’ll find it on the top bar of the software between the “View” and “Format” tabs.Insert Video FilesSelect “Movies and Sounds” from in the “Insert” menu. A sub-menu will pop out. In this sub-menu, you’ll see the options “Movie from Clip Organizer” or “Movie from File.” Click on your choice. Another pop-up menu will appear, asking you when you want the movie clip to play—when the slide appears or when you click on your mouse. Select the play option you want for that slide. Once you’ve done this, a movie file will appear in your PowerPoint presentation on the slide you currently have open.
