How do I add channels through Ventrilo?
• Connect to your Ventrilo Server. • Log in as the Server Administrator. • Right-click on the name of your server listed at the top of the whitespace in the Ventrilo client. Scroll down to Channel Admin/Create. • A window titled “Setup Channel – Create” should now be open. There are several spaces open for you to input the title of your channel, phonetic, comment, and password. Note: If you would like the channel password protected, input the password you wish the channel to have. Also, make sure to click the “Channel Password” box under the Protected Mode section. If you wish to have the channel open to anyone on the server, leave the password input box blank and make sure to have “Open to Public” checked under the Protection mode. • The newest version of Ventrilo 3.1 sets codecs on a channel-by-channel basis.
