Open the PowerPoint file and display the slide to add music. On the Insert menu, select “Movies and Sounds” and click on “Sound from File…” The “Insert Sound” window will pop up; select the music file and click “OK” A message will pop up; to play music automatically in the slide show, click “Yes” or to play the music clicking the sound icon, click “No.” To adjust the stopping time for the music, click on the sound icon, right click and press on “Custom Animation”, the music file will be added under Custom Animation task pane; click on the music file, left click on the arrow, click on “Effect Options”. The “Play Sound” window will pop up; on the “Effect” tab, under “Stop playing”, click on the options given.
