Creating an AutoText entry in Microsoft (MS) Outlook 2003: Note: You must first have your e-mail format set to MS Word, In MS Outlook, select Tools, then Options. . ., then the Mail Format tab. Make sure that Use MS Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail messages is checked. 1. Open MS Outlook 2003 2. Create a new e-mail 3. Type exactly what you want saved as an AutoText in the body of the e-mail. (You can store formatting, hyperlinks, and images all as part of the entry). 4. Highlight the entire entry 5. Select the Insert drop-down menu 6. Select AutoText Note: If you do not see AutoText listed, you will need to expand the drop-down menu by pressing the downwards arrows icon located at the bottom of the list. 7. Click New 8. Title the AutoText, press OK 9. To recall an AutoText entry, start typing the title of the Autotext in the body of your e-mail. (after about four (4) characters, a tooltip will preview the entry) 10. Click the tooltip, or press Enter to insert it.
