How do I add an item into Blackboard online gradebook for the homework that I had students complete in my course?
• Login to Blackboard. • Select a course to enter. • Select the Control Panel. • Select the Gradebook. • Select Add Item. • Enter in the Item Name. • Select a Category by using the pull down menu, eg. Homework, • It is optional to add in a Description of the item. The date of entry is recorded. • Enter in the Points possible for the item. • Select the Display As option using the pull down menu, for the grade to appear in the grade book, eg. Score. • Select Yes or No, to make the item Visible for students to view. • Select Yes or No, to Include this item in gradebook score calculations. • Select Submit. • Select OK. • The item is now added and can be accessed in the gradebook.
