How do I add a second station to my ProfitMaker Server?
You can add a second station (we call them workstations) to your 1st station (the Server) by buying a second Windows 98 computer and adding a network interface card (NIC). Then you simply hook the two stations together by using network cable. You don’t have to buy Lantastic, Novell, or other expensive networking software programs because Windows 98 has 32 bit networking built in and ProfitMaker takes full advantage of Windows 98. We suggest contacting a computer company in your area to help you with the hardware and Windows 98 networking setup even though it is very simple to do. After you have a second station setup and running you will need to purchase our Workstation version of ProfitMaker to install on the second and other stations. You can share printers between stations so you don’t necessarily have to buy printers for the Server and the Workstations.
