How do I add a fixed DHCP (BOOTP or M-DHCP) address in Service Gateway?
After selecting the address from the Automatic pool (the addresses with an ‘A’ after them), and checking to see if the address is free and is not currently in use, you need to do four things on the HOST page: • Add the MAC address for the IP in the box by the “Fixed” button. Use format xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx • Enter in a HOST name • elect the appropriate domain from the pull-down box • Leave the “TTL” box blank unless you have a specific need to change it. It will default to 8 hours.
