How do i add a border in microsoft word 2007?
Adding BordersTo add a border to a paragraph in Microsoft Word 2007, highlight the paragraph you want to put a border around and then look at your top menu bar on the screen. Make sure you are on ‘Home’. The second grouping of icons is titled ‘Paragraph’. Click on the down arrow next to the border icon and choose the last option ‘Borders and Shading’. The dialog box that appears has three tabs. In the ‘Borders’ tab, choose your setting of a box, shadow, 3-D or custom style. Choose the style, color and width of your border. Choose whether you want to apply the border to just a portion of text or the entire paragraph. In the ‘Page Border’ tab, you can again choose what type of box you want, the style, color and width of the border and whether you want to apply it to the entire document or just sections of the document. This tab has an additional option of adding an artistic look to your border such as repeating apples, pine trees or various other repeating patterns.
