How do I activate my Family Locator – Locatee phones?
Although the application download is no longer required for Family Locator, it is still available if you want to take advantage of refined location results and Arrival & Departure Updates. Make sure you first download the Family Locator Member application on the devices you wish to locate. Please refer to the FAQ “How do I download the optional Family Locator Member Application to my Locatee phones?” for help in downloading the application. Login to your Family Locator account at http://familylocator.vzw.com to activate the Family Member Locatee phones on your account and enjoy the peace of mind of locating your family anytime. Once logged in, click on the phone number of the phone you wish to activate on the left side of the screen Select “Edit Profile” and then click on “install the Family Locator client on your mobile phone” An Activation Wizard will guide you through the following activation steps: Turn on the cell phone which you are activating.
