How do I activate an Enterprise Encrypt Recipient (ENTPREC) or “contingency recipient”?
Our recommendation is to have your System Administrator set up the contingency recipient in the configuration settings, which will help maintain the security of the certificate store and its certificates. The information below is intended for the System Administrator to review: To meet corporate security policies, SecureZIP provides the ability to include a “contingency-key” or master recipient certificate in a SecureZIP job when strong encryption is activated through the PKCFGSEC command. After prompting the PKCFGSEC command, select TYPE (*UPDATE) and input the appropriate certificate information into the ENTPREC parameter.
