How do I account for the required 15 collaborative hours?
Collaborative time for a learning team is defined as time spent working with other professionals to study, practice, and apply the new information/skills as defined by the outcomes in the syllabus. The instructor of record need not be present at all collaborative work times. However, time spent in individual research, planning, or teaching does not count. Participants will need to work outside of the learning team to apply the new learning in their classrooms. The 15 hours of collaborative time MUST be honored, as there is never enough time to fully master new knowledge and skills in this limited time period.
