How do I access the Library bibliographic databases using EndNote?

0

EndNote enables you to connect directly to databases that have Z39.50 capability. In many cases you may prefer to use the power of the database’s own search engine and save and import, but at times direct connections could be useful. To connect directly to a database from within EndNote: • Choose Tools > Connect • Either select a database from the box that appears, or if this is not in the search box, click on Connect which brings up a full list of all available connection files. Ignore the messages about the files being locked- just click on OK to clear them. • Choose a database to search then click on Connect This will bring up an EndNote search box, which is searching the selected database. Records found using this search can then be put directly into your library using the Copy * References to button.
