How do I access online journals, past exam papers etc. from off-campus?
• Some online journals can be accessed from any internet connection via SOLO. If you are working outside the Oxford University network, you should use OxLIP+ which will require your Oxford University Single Sign-On account for access. Please see http://www.ouls.ox.ac.uk/eresources/remote_access for exact details. • To access all of Oxford’s restricted electronic resources, such as online journals, OxLIP+ (bibliographic databases), OXAM (past exam papers) etc. from outside the campus network, there are two routes. • One is to use the OUCS low-speed dial-up service (see http://www.oucs.ox.ac.uk/network/dialup/). • Alternatively, if you connect via a commercial dial-up or broadband company, you need to use the OUCS VPN service. VPN works by modifying an existing connection to make it look like it is an on-campus connection.
