How do I access Mac Resources from MacPerl?

You don’t, if you want portable code! If you do want to access them, you have to use an XCMD or XFCN (see above for information on that). Recently, Matthias has released Perl extensions that allow access to the Macintosh toolbox for Memory, Resources, and Apple Events. Currently, this is PowerMac-compatible only.
