How do I access information under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act?

Callers will be transferred to the appropriate Department responsible for the records to which they seek access. Departmental staff will then determine if the records can be released by them or whether a formal Access Request is required. If it is determined that the request is to be processed through the Freedom Of Information process, applicants are required to complete an Access/Correction Request and submit along with the required $5.00 application fee, payable to the City of Hamilton, to the applicable institution listed below: Hamilton Police Services (905) 546-2424 Ext. 4700 Hamilton Conservation Authority (905) 648-4427 Hamilton Public Library (905) 546-3200 Ext. 3213 Hamilton Housing Corporation (905) 546-2424 Ext. 6159 Hamilton Entertainment and Convention Facilities Inc (HECFI) (905) 546-3100 Ext. 4047 For all other City records contact
