How do I access DealBook 360 if I am behind a firewall?
A. With the introduction of DealBook 360, we included a technology called “HTTP tunneling” that, in many cases, will bypass firewall or router restrictions. To enable HTTP tunneling, select your desired system (live or demo) from the DealBook 360 login window, and click the three small dots (…) to the left of the login button. You will be presented with a Connection Options window. If you are using the live system, change the URL to http://live.gftforex.com:80/naming.ior. If you are using the Demo system, change the URL to http://demo.gftforex.com:80/naming.ior. Once changed, check the box labeled “Use HTTP Tunneling” and click “Ok.” If you are able to connect after this, please refer to the firewall manufacturer’s instructions, or contact the firewall manufacturer directly to see how you can add DealBook 360 as a trusted application.
