How do hourly jobs work?
Hourly rate jobs insure that you get exactly what you pay for. They may include a small amount of time for travel, time to purchase materials, bid time if necessary, and time to wash out equipment if necessary (brushes, rollers, sprayers, etc.). Materials are still charged for at cost and are not included in the hourly rate. Gross labor and materials are subject to sales tax. We have done entire houses at hourly rates, most often for customers who want to help do the job themselves to cut costs, but want a professional to oversee it.
