How Do High-Achieving Students Approach Web-Based, Copy and Paste note Taking?
The article discusses a study on Web-based copy and paste note-taking behaviours of students. Past research revealed that students remember less information when taking down notes from the Web using the copy and paste method. A study of high-achieving high school and college students found that all learned the same amount of information in two different conditions. A note-taking tool was used by the students.
