Harp Seals have reasonably thick blubber, at about 2-4 inches thick, and at birth (this is when they are white and fluffy until they moult) they can blend in with their surroundings in Antarctica. They also make burrows in the snow to hide from anything which may be dangerous to them. (these are mostly humans and polar bears) Harp Seals can swim and have been known to hold their breath for up to 10 minutes. They mostly eat penguins, fish, the majority of crustaceans.
