How do Halogen Lights Work?
A light bulb moment indeed! Take a small quartz envelope, a filament, halogen gas, and energy; place them closely together and when heat is emitted light is given off. However, different from the typical incandescent bulb the halogen gases react with the tungsten vapor and redeposit on the filament (creating a more efficient light production).
