How do guaranteed picks work?
When you purchase a guaranteed pick, your credit card is pre-authorized but not charged for the price of the pick. If the pick is subsequently graded a winner, your card will be charged for the amount of the pick. If the pick is graded a loser, the pre-authorization is dropped and you will not be charged. Depending on your bank, it takes normally three to five days for the pre-authorization to drop off and go back into your account. Your bank should be able to tell you what their policy is on pre-authorized charges.
