How do good singers prevent injuring their voice from belting?
They accomplish that by doing the same things that professional athletes do to prevent injuries from strenuous activity……. they do fundamentals and practice. No one just comes to a rehearsal and starts singing they have to warm up their voice by singing their scales or maybe a simple etude then their accompanist will tell them to sing various vowel like tah, do ,me, tee at various pitches and then once their voice is warmed they can start to do what they do best. All i am saying is that they prepare their voices before just singing so that their voice can adjust before they do any major singing.
