HOW DO FUNGICIDES WORK?
Fungicides work like vaccines. Fungicide applications will not necessarily clear up the brown areas you have now (the grass will have to grow new foliage to green these areas up), but it will protect your lawn from further spreading brown patch for the next three weeks. WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP YOUR LAWN? 1. I recommend you try our fungicide program. At your request I will put you on a regular fungicide schedule and hope conditions improve. 2. Do not water your lawn unless draught conditions are occuring. When you have to water, then water deeply but infrequently to keep the leaf blade as dry as possible. Evening/night watering is a dangerous practice that usually results in more disease. 3. Mow your lawn on a regular basis to reduce the humidity in the canopy. Try to mow when the foliage is dry.
