How do fix the AWD Disable light on a Buick Rendezvous?

0

I have a Rendezvous with the same problem. The AWD Disable light was on constantly along with the antilock brake light. It caused the acceleration to die when I get past a certain RPM too. The fix was to check the wire pairs that go through corrugated wire tubing and a connector and then into the inner wheel of each wheel. Each wheel has a wire pair going into it on the inside of the wheel. The wires are for reading the wheel speed (RPM) for the computer. I found the wire connector had pulled apart. The wires werent long enough for the car to make a hard turn and happend to pull out during a sharp turn while parking. I released some of the wire bundle clamps that gave the wires more room for turning and then just plugfed the wire connector back into the other connector plug and the problem went away. If it doesnt fix the problem, you should check all the other wires on all 4 wheels for a disconnected or broken wire. I hope this helps.
