How do first-year students vote in freshman SG elections if they have credits that technically make them sophomores?
Summary: At our school, freshmen with credits already are put into our computer system based on their credits not their excepted graduation year. Therefore these freshmen cannot vote with their class because the system says they aren’t freshmen even though they are excepted to graduate with their incoming class. This problem starts with incoming freshmen and continues on as the student moves up in years. So basically the problem is students coming to school with more credits cannot vote for their excepted graduation year because the system has them a year higher even though they aren’t, and going to be graduating with their incoming class. Trying to word this problem was difficult for me so if you didn’t understand or have more questions please let me know and I can hopefully clarify the problem.
