How do F17 and LVL compare regarding wetting, swelling and delamination?
This is a key concern for many builders. Solid F17 timber cannot, and will not, swell and delaminate if allowed to become wet on-site – this cannot be guaranteed with laminated products and appropriate protection must be ensured. Care may also be taken with laminated products in sub-floor applications, if ground water is present.
