How do escorts work, and are they mandatory?
CMUNCE will be providing escorts to and from the hotel throughout the conference, as well as on all conference activities. At any time while in transit, delegations will have the benefit of a CMUNCE staff member who is well acquainted with the surrounding area to guide them to wherever they are going. Delegations will meet up with a CMUNCE staff member at the hotel each morning to take them to Columbia’s campus. Likewise, a staff member will lead them back to the hotel following the end of the day’s activities. Should delegations elect to not be provided with an escort, their advisor must notify a Secretariat member directly.
