How do EP Lubricants work, and what do they do?
EP Lubricants work by using a state-of-the-art technology that re-engineers and supplements the standard additive package found in most motor oil. This is a totally benign product that allows friction to be dramatically reduced. Another benefit of EP Lubricants is that the total base number (TBN) is substantially increased and these acid-fighters reduce oxidation and increase the life of the oil. This allows for greatly extended drain intervals. Also, the increased detergency and dispersency cleans engines while the friction reducing capability decreases engine metal wear. Engines run smoother, cleaner and last longer.
