How do environmentally friendly guitars sound?

0

The use of environmentally friendly materials doesn’t really affect the sound of the instrument. Many of the woods that I use in my instruments are the same woods used in many guitars (mahogany for blocks,bracing- spruce and redwood). The only difference is that I know where these woods come from and how they were harvested. Several of the “alternative” woods which I have been using for some time such as Walnut, and Bay Laurel (Myrtlewood) are now becoming quite common in factory made and handbuilt guitars While an instrument using environmentally friendly woods may not sound any different, just knowing where the materials come from gives me some kind of satisfaction and hopefully does to the player as well.
