How do EM Waves travel through a vacuum?

0

Dont see the vacuum as empty, it contains space which is the invisible fabric of our Universe on which EM waves travel as energy ripples. Space is a real substance -spacetime, like a jelly, when a source releases energy into it, it distorts and produces ripples, the subsequent ripples which travel rapidly away from the source are the energy in transit. This is like when you twang a string and see the wave shoot down the line, you can see it and even feel it when it arrives as energy but then it is absorbed and disappears. If you cant get your head around believing something is real just because you cant see it I suggest purchasing some powerful earth magnets from eBay and pushing them together and feeling the invisible force at work first hand. We understand hardly anything about our environment or how it really works we just have to keep hazarding guesses until we get something workable.
