How do ecosystems maintain balance?
Ecosystems are characterized by the mutual interactions amongst the flora and fauna. The food chains, food webs contribute to the control of plants and animals interacting there. Other factors include the barriers whether it be geographical, physiological etc. maintaining the characteristics of a particular ‘species’. Certain studies reflect the existence of balance in ecosystems, as reflected by Cybernetics. Cybernetics is actually the science of control and information.
