How do dogs detect epileptic seizures?
There are little research that was done to prove how dogs were able to predict seizures but there are various theories about this. One is that a dog’s superior sense of smell helps to predict an imminent seizure. There are some who believes that dogs are more sensitive to body language compared to human so they can pick up on tiny changes in behavior and movement that usually occurs prior to seizures.
