How do Doctoral candidates order their academic attire?
The more ornate academic regalia for Doctoral candidates is rented, but those entering the academic field may wish to purchase and have the option to do so. If you have registered to graduate, and expect to complete your requirements in the Spring 2010 semester, you will receive a Doctoral mailing (PDF 144KB) which provides the information for ordering. If you have not received the packet, contact your Commencement Coordinator. Rental orders take almost 2 months—candidates must order by April 2, 2010. All doctoral graduates keep their tam and tassel.
