How do developmental courses affect my full-time student/part-time status in terms of financial aid and health insurance?

Developmental courses do not count towards your degree requirements, but DO count towards your status as a full time student. Example: Student is taking 9 credits of credited courses and 4 credits of a non-credited course. Only 9 of the credits count toward degree requirements, however all 13 credits count toward financial aid and insurance, thereby making the student full-time.
