How Do Democrats And Republicans Veiw The Right To Bare Arms?
I’m not sure if you meant this as a joke, but I don’t think either have a problem with “bare” arms. . If you mean “bear” arms in terms of the 2nd amendment, then here’s a brief perspective. . Dem: People are the ones who ultimately decide to pull the trigger on another human being. Therefore if we limit the access to guns, then it will also limit the number of gun murders in the country. (Personally, if someone wants to kill another person they will find a way. There was a Japanese man not too long ago who killed someone with a hammer.) . Rep: (This one is harder to reason only because they are too inconsistent. I’m neither Dem nor Rep.) They generally take the Bill of Rights literally and therefore use gun rights more as a political rallying point to get elected. But when you recognize the rape of the Bill of Rights during Bush’s 8 years, they obviously don’t care that much about it. . Just my perspective.
