How do credentialed individuals participate in the Green Globes building rating and certification process?
Green Globes Professionals and Green Globes Assessors participate in the process in different ways. Green Globes Professionals market their expertise in the use of Green Globes to building owners and facility managers who would like assistance with the building evaluation process. They may be retained for everything from initiating the process, providing technical support, completing the surveys, to managing all aspects of obtaining a Green Globes rating and certification—with the exception of third-party assessment, which can only be done by an authorized Green Globes Assessor. Green Globes Assessors participate in the process by conducting third-party assessments of buildings that have completed an initial user online evaluation using Green Globes for New Construction or Green Globes for Continual Improvement of Existing Buildings.
