How do consumers define quality of care?
Norma Ware, PhD, Department of Social Medicine, Harvard Medical School, 641 Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02115, 617-432-2554, norma_ware@hms.harvard.edu Participants in a quality of care study who are Medicaid beneficiaries and who are treated for schizophrenia were interviewed, using open-ended unstructured interviews, to learn more about how consumers of mental health services evaluate the care they receive. This presentation will provide preliminary results from qualitative analysis.
