How do computers help to fly aircraft such as the Stealth Bomber?

0

Computers have been helping airplanes fly…both inherently stable and inherently stable aircraft. For the stable ones (as far back as when autopilot emerged), simpler computers (when autopilott is engaged) help: – Maintain altitude by making numerous control surface inputs to the elevators. – Maintain speed by adjusting throttle according to atmosphere-induced fluxs in airspeed. – Maitain heading by constantly making aileron/rudder inputs to keep flying in the desired direction. These days, unstable airplanes require even more frequent inputs…control surface deflections to keep the airplane doing what the pilot needs it to do. Consider my answer after reading the answers provided above mine…we are all right.
