She is working on building the cpacity of the Coalition through community organizing, writing grants required for continued funding, implementing evidence-based interventions into the middle and high school, and working on the media literacy campaign focused on parents and concerned community members. Karen is also working with coalition members to establish community events that focus on substance-free alternatives for youth.
